Agency Notification Subscriptions and Preferences

Kamana’s Agency Notifications give agency users the ability to receive alerts about things that happen within Kamana within your organization. Notifications keep you ready to take the necessary steps to move the process forward as soon as a candidate expresses interest in working with you.

Types of Notification Subscriptions

  • New Talent Sign-Up
    • Agency users subscribed to the New Talent Sign-Up notification will be alerted when a new candidate joins your agency account in Kamana. Candidates can join your agency account via Talent Invite, Profile Claim Invite, or an application via your unique Application Landing Page URL that is placed on your job postings or website.

Subscribing to Notifications

By default, users are opted-out of receiving New Talent Sign-Up notifications. To be alerted about New Talent Sign-Ups, make sure to update your Notification Subscriptions
Update Notification Subscriptions
  • Click your name in the top right corner or the screen
  • Select Notification Preferences from the drop-down list
  • Select the edit(pencil) icon under Notification Subscriptions
  • Check the box of the notification you would like to receive
  • Select Save Changes
Agency users will receive in-app and email notifications unless they have previously updated their Notification Preferences. 

Notification Preferences

Notification Preferences controls how users are notified of activity within your Kamana organization. The primary point of contact for the talent profile, by default, will receive notifications about new chat messages.
When active in Kamana, users will receive an in-app notification which is indicated by the bell icon near the top of the screen
When inactive in Kamana, users will additionally receive a notification outside of the platform. Users can choose to be notified via email or text. 
By default, users notification settings are set to email notifications

Updating Notification Preferences 

  • Click your name in the top right corner or the screen
  • Select Notification Preferences from the drop-down list
  • Select the edit(pencil) icon under Notification Preferences
  • Choose how you would like to be notified
    • Supply cell phone number for texts, if applicable
  • Select Save Changes
